Robert Sillerman, the electronic dance music king, has sold his 3.5-acre estate on the beach in Southampton to “a New York buyer with plans to develop the property,” according to Corcoran broker Tim Davis, who handled the deal.
The estate, with 200 feet of white sand frontage and a 1994 mansion of 12,800 square feet, was listed at $39 million.
Sillerman, 65, the founder of SFX Entertainment (which produces festivals including Electric Zoo), and his wife, Laura, listed the estate in September along with five other properties — including a Manhattan townhouse and a villa in Anguilla — in “a step toward simplifying our lives,” he told the Wall Street Journal.
But it’s still not that simple. They have four other houses not on the market, plus Elvis Presley’s Graceland and most of the nightclubs in Miami.
