The sprawling Hamptons home made famous by the 2003 movie “Somethings Gotta Give” has sold. Hotel mogul Jimmy Tisch, the CEO of Loews Corporation, is buying the 11-bedroom summer home at 576 Meadow Lane in Southampton for $41 million, the New York Daily News reported. The mansion was never on the market. Previous owner and Mediabistro.com CEO Alan Meckler built the 8,000-square-foot home. Meckler bought the land for $5.5 million in 1999. Broker Tim Davis of the Corcoran Group represented Meckler. Beate Moore of Sotheby’s International Realty represented Tisch. Billionaire investor Leon Black also owns property on Meadow Lane, as does hotelier Ian Schrager.
